So Many Goodies...

On the one hand, there's a LOT of stuff out there on mindfulness. On the other hand, there's a LOT of stuff out there on mindfulness. The trend toward capitalizing on this movement has flooded the marketplace with apps, podcasts, articles, and products that vary greatly in their quality. And sorting through them can take a lot of time, a valuable commodity in its own right. So let me do some of that work for you. And please help me keep it current by dropping a line when you discover something good.

Desmond studied with Thich Nhat Hanh and imbibed some of his clarity and simplicity. This is a sometimes humorous, sometimes poignant take on why we suffer, and how to hold it in us with humanity and tenderness.

This is a classic introduction to Buddhist psychology from one of the leaders in the field. Each chapter ends with a personal practice.
